Process – Resume shortlisting, Write-up submission, 3 rounds of interviews.
Interview Process
Write-up submission:
After my resume got shortlisted for the role, I had to submit a write-up consisting of 3 questions. The topics consisted of why PwC and why Risk Modelling.
First Round (Duration 1 hr):
- A detailed discussion of projects mentioned in my CV.
- How did you select the bad flag for your model?
- How did you perform the variable selection procedure? Which metric did you use?
- How was the model assessed?
- Basics of linear regression and logistic regression.
- How comfortable are you in Python? Please assign a rating between 1-5 with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best.
- Why do you want to join PwC?
- Why are you leaving your current organization?
- Do you have any questions for me?
Second Round (Duration-45 mins):
- A quick introduction followed by a discussion on my current role.
- Explaining the business problem and how did the project help in addressing the problem.
- Discussion on linear regression and its assumptions.
- How do you check for the presence of Autocorrelation?
- Have you studied time series models?
- What are ACF and PACF?
- How do you check for the stationarity in data?
- What are the differences between AR and MA models?
- How is ARMA different from the ARIMA model?
- Why do you want to work with the Validation team?
- Do you have any questions for me?
Third Round (Duration-45 mins):
- Introduction and discussion around the applied job role.
- A brief discussion of my current projects.
- Have you faced any challenges in your current role? How did you deal with them?
- Have you worked in a team before? Did you face any challenges?
- Did you take up any initiatives in your current role?
- Why do you want to work with the Validation team?
