Placement Process

Round 1 (Technical): 

  1.  Introduce yourself
  2. What are your hobbies?
  3. Tell me about a project that you have done recently
  4. Tell me about any prediction model based project that you have done recently
  5. I have a data of 10000 observations, and let’s say that 5% of the observations are missing. How would you impute those?
  6. What kind of regression models have you applied in your project?
  7. Have you worked on primary data? If yes, what issues did you encounter while collecting the data? How would you overcome them?
  8. Consider that I am asking you to estimate my current income and you could ask me only 5 questions. What would you ask me?
  9. Guesstimate: Estimate the number of persons travelling at the Shastri Nagar Metro Station?
  10. Puzzle: A 3*3 grid of dots is presented on a sheet of paper. How would you join those with only 4 straight lines?
  11. Any questions from me?

Round 2 (Technical + Business Acumen): 

  1. Introduce yourself
  2. Mention any one assumption of linear regression. How would you check if it is violated? What remedial measures are available to you?
  3. What do you think were the factors involved in determining the fare of metro rides when it was made available to public for commute?
  4. Two questions I am going to ask, answer the first one quick and the second one quicker.
  5. What is the square root of 9? What is the square root of 0.9?
